About Arbach ●

Here you come to unwind, take sporty walks in beautiful nature or in beautiful wine regions. An official “Luftkurort,” this unknown and little-visited piece of Vulkaneifel offers an attractive mix of well-walked forests, creeks, fields and villages. Nearby you will find beautiful castles, riverbanks and vineyards, as well as the attractive cities of Koblenz and Trier.

The former Gaststätte Haus Waldfrieden was operated by the Mertes family from 1927 to 2017. As of August 2017, the name is:

In Arbach ● is delicious cooking, centered on the very best, original Neapolitan Pizzas, many of which are prepared in a wood-fired oven. With that you drink very nice, matching wines.

Besides the restaurant with terrace and “Weingarten” we have 5 fresh new, modern double rooms and a wonderful 4-6 person loft!

Around the pond and in the gardens is a lovely place to be. There is a large swing, several areas of shade and sun, the creek babbles in the background and the water in the pond is clean and clear. Mountain bikes are available for you and your children in case you forgot to bring yours.

The atmosphere is a bit like that of a mountain hut in the Alps, but without the sweaty feet.
