About Arbach ●

Here you come to unwind, take sporty walks in beautiful nature or in beautiful wine regions. An official “Luftkurort,” this unknown and little-visited piece of Vulkaneifel offers an attractive mix of well-walked forests, creeks, fields and villages. Nearby you will find beautiful castles, riverbanks and vineyards, as well as the attractive cities of Koblenz and Trier.

The former Gaststätte Haus Waldfrieden was operated by the Mertes family from 1927 to 2017. As of August 2017, the name is:

Arbach ● Essen – Trinken – Schlafen

In Arbach ● is delicious cooking, centered on the very best, original Neapolitan Pizzas, many of which are prepared in a wood-fired oven. With that you drink very nice, matching wines.

Besides the restaurant with terrace and “Weingarten” we have 5 fresh new, modern double rooms and a wonderful 4-6 person loft!

Around the pond and in the gardens is a lovely place to be. There is a large swing, several areas of shade and sun, the creek babbles in the background and the water in the pond is clean and clear. Mountain bikes are available for you and your children in case you forgot to bring yours.

Arbach is the sweetest village in Germany. At Gaststätte Arbach, it goes ● The atmosphere is friendly. Anything is possible by mutual agreement, you think of it and we will make it something fun!
Yoga or dancing in the Stube, around the pond or nature with a picnic? Group training in the restaurant? Family theater in the wine cellar? Rehearsal week chamber orchestra? An exciting Murder Weekend? Meditation by the water? Choir rehearsal for the Matthew Passion? Tea therapy in the garden? Mountain bike scavenger hunt ? Spizzadating evening? Cooking workshop from your Italian grandmother? The entire Canto Ostinato in relay form? Moselle wine course for beginners? Forestry and horticulture weekend? Bring it on, it can always be crazier, we think with you.
But we can also just really spoil you…… The Arbachtreat is also a choice!
The atmosphere is a bit like that of a mountain hut in the Alps, but without the sweaty feet.
Wim de Gelder and his team will provide here, especially together with you, a rest for the next few years ● in the beautiful Vulkaneifel!
